Take music collection as an example: buying cassettes, CDs and vinyl is now considered nostalgia. Today, music is ‘rented’ or ‘licensed to user’ in a purely digital form. In a similar way, can we ‘rent’ digital artworks? Can virtual creations be as valuable and collectable as fine art or wine?
